The popular quote by Mahatma Gandhi,  “The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others,” has inspired actor turned social worker Raghavendra Rajkumar to engage himself in the service of mankind.

“After tasting success in films and acquiring material comforts,  the guilty feeling was haunting me for not giving back to society which has showered enormous love on our family. Now I am so happy to learn that selfless service to mankind brings in eternal bliss and I am dedicating my rest of my  life to work for the welfare of the society,” said Raghavendra Rajkumar while speaking to Enarada.com today at his office in Gandhinagar.

Raghavendra Rajkumar who was unwell for some time got a new lease of life recently when he met few spiritual personalities from different sects and exposed himself to divine secrets of being happy by leading a spiritual life.

Raghavendra Rajkumar is involved in a mission to create mini forests by tree plantation. He is set  to plant 3 to 4 lakhs neem trees by next year and hopes that the movement gets a big boost in the years to come.

“I am grateful to God for allowing me to execute my mission. My eyes gets wet when I remember my father who was like a living God to me. Even if I follow one percent of his teachings, my life will be successful,” said Raghavendra.

He further added that his father Dr.Rajkumar is physically away but his soul is all pervading till today as there is no death for saints. “Appaji will live forever in the hearts of Kannadigas,” he said.
