Bangalore, February 27,2013: 125 graduating designers of the Indian Institute of Fashion Technology (IIFT), Bangalore will showcase future global fashion design trends in one of the largest fashion ensembles any city in India has seen.
The Graduating designers will set the trend for global fashion in ‘IIFT Fashionite 2013’, happening at Chowdaiah Memorial Hall here on February 28 at 6 pm. The young designers will ‘speak’ their stories through ‘their designs’, in a high fashion extravaganza.
Donning their designer outfits will be 20 sizzling models who will walk the ramp to a show choreographed by Gautam Pavate.
B Vedhagiri , Director of IIFT said “This year’s show is special as it reflects a very diverse design collection of ensembles inspired by a variety of themes from the charms of Bellur (Shilabalike) to Chinese Art to maya to precious stones, to deep dark secrets indicating he future trends to come on the global fashion scene.” These comprise Indo – Western, traditional, ethnic as well as wearable art designs . The colours and silhouettes will be speaking their own stories.
Each garment design has its own story to tell going by the inspiration, themes and story boards and all the world has to do is just come and listen to the designers ‘speak’ their story through their designs.
Some of the leading names of the modeling world, who include models like Harsha Gowda, Veena Nair and Rakshitha will be walking the ramp.
