It is a big task to organise the Hindu society due to its diverse culture and Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) is all set to work towards achieving this task, said Dattatreya Hosabale, Sarkaryavah (General Secretary) of RSS.
Akhil Bharatiya Pratinidhi Sabha (ABPS) 2025, The three-day annual meeting of RSS ended in Bengaluru at Janaseva Vidya Kendra, Chennenahalli on March 23. Dattatreya Hosabale addressed journalists at the venue and shared the glimpses of the meeting.
The ABPS paid tributes to three revolutionary freedom fighters Bhagat singh, Sukhdev and Rajguru who were hanged to death, said Hosabale. “Their supreme sacrifice has to be not only remembered but also we should get inspired by their cause of commitment to nation’s freedom,” said Hosabale.
The homage was also paid to Maharani Abbakka, popularly known as a fearless queen and Bharat’s great woman freedom fighter. “Abbakka hails from Ullala in Dakshina Kannada district of Karnataka, repeatedly defeated the Portuguese invaders,” said Hosabale.
Replying to a question on Aurangazeb’s tomb issue, Hosabale said invaders are threat to society and there is no need to show any sympathy on them. He further added that decision to change Aurangazeb road in Delhi as Abdul kalam road was a good move.
When asked about new reservation policy for Muslims declared by Karnataka government, Hosabale said the religion based reservations are unconstitutional but many governments are announcing this scheme for the sake of securing vote bank.
