Shooting of Super star rajinikanth’s new action drama film titled ‘Lingaa’ will begin in Karigata in Mandya district on May 3.
The film unit had desired to start shooting inside the world famous Mysore palace but they did not get permission as the Mysore palace board had taken a policy decision not to let any shooting inside Palace premises.
Police sources said film unit has sought police protection for the shooting which will be held from May 3 to 11 in various parts of Mandya district.
“we will provide suitable protection to the film unit including Rajinikanth and others during their stay in the district,” Mandya SP Mr.Bhushan said.
According to the sources, the first few of days of shooting will be in kharighatta, hills with temple of Lord Sri Venkateshwara on the banks of the river Cauvery. Later at the famous Melkote Sri Chaluvanarayanasway and Sri Lakshminarasimha swamy temple atop of the hils.
These locations are not new to Rajanikanth; the scenes featuring the famous ‘Padayappa’ house were shot there.
The film shooting also takes place in world famous Krishnaraja sagar reservoir and brindavan gardens.
The Stylish actor may visit Chennai for the release of Kochadaiiyaan on May 9.
K.S. Ravikumar, Director of the movie have chosen A.R. Rahman to score the music. Sonakshi Sinha is all set to make her debut in South with this film and Anushka is also playing one of the lead roles.
Incidentally, Lingaa also happens to be the name of Rajanikanth’s Grandson (Dhanush and Aishwarya’s younger son).
Rajani and kannada producer should feel guilt for betraying kannada…,They want everything from karnataka and dont need our kannada language……..Shame on them..
