The OLA cab driver died on the spot today in a road accident and the passenger injured seriously. An eyewitness told Enarada.com that the speeding Tata Indica attached to OLA taxi bearing registration number KA 05 AE 7627 hit the metal barricade after the driver lost control at around 4.40am today near Hunasamaranahalli cross on the Airport road near Yelahanka Airforce Base.
Series of other cabs got damaged when few taxi drivers stopped their cars in order to help the victims and over speeding cars hit their cars from behind.
Two ambulances reached the spot at 5.00am. While one Ambulance took the unconscious passenger to the hospital other one stayed on the spot with the body of the driver waiting for the police to arrive.
Large number of people mainly drivers stopped their cars alongside the road and were expressing displeasure after seeing the horrible incident.
