Putting a full stop to all speculations, former Chief Minister SM Krishna Kick started his campaign today morning for the upcoming Assembly elections, by offering prayers at Lakshmi Narasimhaswamy Temple in Vijaya Nagar constituency. Thus, putting an end to all the speculation that he would stay away from the party’s campaign.
He began his campaign by seeking votes for the party’s official candidate M.Krishnappa aka Layout Krishnappa across the constituency and asked the voters to vote for the party.
Speaking to media, Krishna said Congress party will get a clear mandate in the elections and will emerge victorious. When asked, why he was starting from Vijaya Nagar constituency, Krishna said, it’s a Vijay Yatra and thus Vijaya Nagar is the place to begin campaign.
He requested people to vote for Congress Party for the pro-people policies, for putting Bangalore city on a global map by making it a software hub and the iconic Mid-day meal scheme, which was later emulated across the country.
