“Rule No.1: Never lose money. Rule No.2: Never forget rule No.1,” said Warren Buffett.  Now the Huligemma Devi Temple administration is giving a Rule no.3: never donate money to  unauthorised people.

Temple  administrator C.S.Chandramouli has requested general public and devotees to offer donation in cash and kind at the office located in the temple premises and collect the receipt for every donation made.

Following a series of complaints about gullible devotees  getting cheated  by paying  for the upcoming ‘Karthika Deepotsava’ festival to be held on November 25, temple authorities have issued a press release, requesting unsuspected devotees to refrain from making any such donations.

According to release, Huligemma Temple in Hulige comes under ‘A’ category of temples in the Muzrai Department. Here all the religious programs including Annual Jathre, Navrathri  Dasara,Karthika Deepotsava, Bharata Hunnime and daily poojas are organised by temple administration and they have not deputed anybody to collect money on behalf of the temple.
