As part of his two day visit to Karnataka, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav has arrived today in Bangalore.
Tomorrow, he will attend a Samajwadi Party rally in Channapatna in Ramanagaram district . He will meet prospective allies along with the lone SP MLA from the State, C.P. Yogeshwar, to decide the party strategy for the 2014 Lok Sabha elections.
After the Channapatna program, he is visiting Sri Jayachamarajendra College of Engineering (SJCE) in Mysore city where he was studied his engineering .
The SJCE Principal B.G. Sangameshwar said that his staff are keen to make it a memorable event. “ Mr. Yadav will spend about 30 minutes on the campus. We are planning to hold a small function to felicitate him and present him with a memento. If time permits, Mr. Yadav may also address the students or have a brief interaction with them” Principal said.
He will go to the residence of Shakeeb Ur Rehman, vice-principal of the SJCE. Prof. Rehman has been in touch with Mr. Yadav ever since he graduated in 1994. After meeting Prof. Rehman and his family, Mr. Yadav is slated to visit the Suttur Math and seek the blessings of Sri Shivaratri Deshikendra Swami after which he will visit the SJCE campus. He is also expected to spend some time at the residence of his friend Dasharath Rai during the Mysore visit.
