There is a surprise.  Commuters who now spends nearly 30 minutes on road to reach Majestic from nearby areas such as Srirampura, Krishna Rajendra Market ,Vidhana Soudha and other localities would land up in Majestic in 2 minutes once the full fledged Metro train services begins.

Pradeep  Singh Kharola, Managing Director, Benglauru Metro Rail Corporation while interacting today with members of Federation of Karnataka Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FKCCI) in Bengaluru said the Metro train services will significantly reduce the travelling time and transform the image of Public Transport Services.

“Travel would become much faster – Today the average commercial speed in the city is as low as 10 kmph. Metro will have a commercial speed of 30 kmph. Three times faster,” said Kharola.
