 Bangalore, March 6, 2013:

The Lok Sabha member claimed that the party would come to  power on its own in Mysore, Davangere, Hubli-Dharwad and  Gulbarga city corporations.
Noting that political opponents dub JDS as a party  confined to two-three districts only, Kumaraswamy said the
elections would show its strength in other parts of Karnataka  for the first time.
He also claimed that his party would capture Koratagere  town panchayat as well Mysore city corporation.  Koratagere Assembly segment is represented by President  of Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) G Parameshwara  while Leader of Opposition in the Assembly, Siddaramaiah, won  the last Assembly poll from Varuna in Mysore district.
Kumaraswamy slammed a pre-poll survey aired by a news  channel this week that projected lower number of seats and  percentage of votes for JDS in Assembly elections, due in May,  without citing “any reason”, and dismissed it as “misleading”.
“We will dis-prove the survey”, he told reporters, after formally inaugurating the party’s media centre here.
