‘When someone smokes a cigarette, most of the smoke doesn’t go into their lungs. It goes into the air, where anyone nearby can breathe it.’

‘For every 300 cigarettes manufactured, one tree is  cut down for curing. As a result, nine million acres of forests are lost every year.’

‘Children who live with parents who smoke, are prone to respiratory problems,’ are some of the messages  ‘Narain Sewa Sansthan'(NSS) working with a aim to make India a Tobacco & Cancer free country , is spreading in the society to create awareness about ill effects of Tobacco products.

NSS started its second edition of road campaign from Bengaluru on December 19 and reaches Waynad in Kerala after conducting awareness program for School Children and general public in  Mandya, Mysore, Nanjangud and Gundlupet areas  in Karnataka.
