ENARADA, Mysore, May 28, 2014

A team of eleven delegates from the Sri Lankan parliamentary office visited various tourist spots in Mandya and Mysore districts today.

The delegation led by Kottegoade Don Roshan and Padmasriri

visited Sri Chamundeshwari temple atop Chamundi hills in the city and visited famous Mysore palace during the day long tour.

They also paid a visit to the Tipu Sutlan’s summer palace at historic town of Srirangpatna in Mandya district.

In the evening they visited the Brindavan gardens at Kirshnaraja sagar reservoir across Cauvery river.

The delegation expressed happiness after the visit saying they enjoyed seeing heritage sites and places.

“It was my first visit to Mysore and was amazed to see the Mysorepalace”, Mr Roshan said.
