ENARADA, Bangalore, August 26, 2013:
Dr M N Krishnamurthy, IPS, Chief Vigilance Officer of Navratna Defence PSU Bharat Electronics Ltd (BEL), has been elected as the President of Bangalore Management Association (BMA).
He was earlier Senior Vice President of the body.
The panel headed by Dr M N Krishnamurthy won the BMA elections held on August 20, 2013.
The newly elected office-bearers of BMA are Dr M N Krishnamurthy (President); Mr Ashok Kumar Mishra (Senior Vice President), Director-Finance, HAL; Mr Prabhudev Aradhya S, (Vice President), Chartered Accountant; Dr Hari Krishna Maram (Secretary), Chairman of Imperial Management School; and Mr Venkatesh Gowda V S (Treasurer), GM-Karnataka Soaps and Detergents Ltd.
Dr Krishnamurthy, an IPS Officer of the 1984 batch, holds the rank of Additional DGP. He is a recipient of the President’s Medal for Meritorious Service. Dr Krishnamurthy hails from Bangalore and has done his M.Sc (Chemistry), LLB and MBA (Marketing).
Prior to the BEL assignment, he was Managing Director of Kerala Police Housing Construction Corporation Limited.
