Hubli, February 8 ; N. P Javali, Chairman, Karnataka Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Hubli, has stated the budget presented by Chief Minister Jagadish Shettar is outstanding and pro-farmers. The move to reserve 22 thousand crores for agriculture is a good one as it will help the farmers even more. Also, reserving 18 thousand crores for education is another good move.

North Karnataka could have been more aid, as Bengaluru has been aided liberally by the CM, he said. He also that it was not right on the part of CM to have missed out on a proposal for flyover in Hubli-Dharwad twin cities.

Vasant Ladwa said that more aid was needed for Hubli-Dharwar. More was expected for Hubli-Dharwar as the Chief Minister himself is from this constituency.

Secretary Vishwanath Gini Mavu stated that this is a pro-people budget and it helps agriculture.
