Mangalore, April 13, 2013:
The death toll in the Perne LPG tanker fire tragedy of April 9 has risen to 10 with one more injured Indira (40) succumbing to her injuries today, April 13, at Father Muller Hospital. Her friend Vimala an anganawadi worker, who was also admitted to the same hospital, had succumbed to her injuries on Friday, April 12, 2013. With this the death toll in the Perne tragedy has gone up to 10.
According to sources the condition of Hajima (70) who suffered about 40% burn injuries is critical. Hajima’s daughter-in-law Safiya (28) has also suffered 30% burn injuries and is recuperating.
