Mysore, April 23, 2013:

Former Union Minister and KJP leader V. Dhananjay Kumar today said that he stands by his statement against BJP leader L K Advani and his children taken money from B.S.Yeddyurappa  to allow him (BSY)  to continue as the Chief Minister.

Speaking to media persons on the sidelines of KJP convention held at a convention in the city he said, “I have proof of the money given to Advani’s kin. When the suitable time comes, I will provide all the relevant documents,” he said.

Regarding Yeddyurappa  apologizing on his behalf, Dhananjay Kumar said that it was Yeddyurappa’s large-heartedness and his wish. “Advani, during his campaign in Karnataka, should not have criticised Yeddyurappa and called him corrupt. This is what made me speak up against Advani,” he said.

When pointed out that those who had given money were equally guilty, Dhananjay agreed and said that it was a different matter and said that he do’t want to continue this issue any further .

Later participated in a convention of Karnataka Janatha Paksha (KJP), as part of poll campaign, Mr. Dhananjay Kumar, firing a salvo at District In-Charge Minister S.A. Ramdas, accused him of distributing money and gifts to lure voters. But the voters will teach him a lesson this time, he said.

Actress-turned politician Shruthi, who is the Vice-President of KJP, speaking on the occasion said that compared to other parties, KJP has given importance to women. “While the Congress has given only three tickets to women candidates during this Assembly election and the BJP five tickets, the KJP has given tickets to 13 women,” she said and pointed out that most of the audience in the gathering was women.

“A Minister is luring voters with money and gifts. From where did they get the money?” she questioned.
