Enarada, Mysore, June 30, 2013:
In a unique musical experiment called “early morning raaga,” nearly a thousand music lovers watched and heard a special music concert today.
The music program held at the Vanaranga open auditorium in Kalamandira, along the Mysore-Hunsur road in the city.
The concert was presented by harmonica exponent Saitejas Chandrashekhar, in Karnatak classical, accompanied by G.S. Ramanujan and Radhesh on mridanga and Arjun Dinakar on violin.
Apart from the rendition of Tyagaraja’s compositions, the jugalbandi between the musicians enthralled the audience who gave a thunderous applause.
The crowd, jam-packed in the auditorium, relished the musical feast from 7 am to 9 am and in the second session from 9 am to 10 am. The event was organised by a group of music-lovers led by Sachidananda.
