The people of Bengaluru witnessed action packed stunts by internationally acclaimed athletes at Extreme Invasion – an action sports event at the Malleshwaram ground during the weekend.. The event which included extreme sports like skateboarding, BMX, inline skates was brought to the city by Brand Promotions India along with Asian Federation of Extreme Sports (AXF). The gala opening of the event was done by HipHop India, one of Bangalore’s well known BBoying troop.
Internationally renowned & ranked professional athletes like Chatchalearm Chaivirojvit (BMX), Jeerasak Tassorn (InlinesSkate), zafrin shah (bmx), Braxton Haine (Skate boarding), Sutat (Skateboarding), sittichok srikaew (skateboarding), Richie (Inline skate), Worapoj Boonnim (Inline skate) demonstrated their skills and mesmerised the audiences with their jaw dropping stunts. Another major attraction of the event was ‘India Hour’ – where local players pushed their boundaries to display their talent and skills on the ramp under the guidance of the international players.
Speaking on the event, Mr. Sunil Kutty Menon, Owner of Extreme Invasion and Director Brand Promotions said , “We are thankful to the Asian Federation of Extreme Sports (AXF) for believing in us and giving us the mandate to do multiple demo tours in India . They have been a great support to us in helping us select World Class rank holding athletes to perform in the event. AXF also helped us in sourcing the park style ramp which has been made by the official ramp builder of the Olympic Council. Through such events we intend to encourage local talent to take up these sports professionally.
Extreme Invasion was a fun-filled and exciting experience full of adventure, music and entertainment. The event was a 4 hour entertainment extravaganza.
