ENARADA, Hassan, March 18, 2014

Governor of Karnataka today said that he is happy for serving the state and hinted that after completing the present term, he will put an end to his political career to pursue a different career close to his heart.

“Controversies in politics are part of life but I have done my duty as Governor of Karnataka satisfactorily” said Hans Raj Bhardwaj. He was speaking to journalists on his tour to Chikamagalore.

Dr. Hans Raj Bhardwaj assumed charge as Governor of karnataka on June 29, 2009.

He further added that he will cherish and remember forever his stay in Karnataka which is rich in heritage and culture.

“I have served in both public life and politics for a long time in various capacities, further I will not continue as a politician but start writing instead”, Bhardwaj said. He added that he will also associate with NGO of Delhi in continuing legal education.

He mentioned that K.V.Puttappa (Kuvempu) is one of his favorite poets in Kannada. “I am eager to visit Kuppalli, the birth place of Kuvempu and spend some time there”, Governor Hansaj Bharadwaj said.

He has authored the books 1) Law,Lawyer’s & Judges 2) India- A fellowship of faiths 3) Soul of India 4) Crime, Criminal Justice & Human Rights.
