High court of Karnataka today rejected Jayalalithaa’s bail plea.
Justice A.V. Chandrashekara rejected her bail plea with reference to the recent directives by Supreme Court on corruption.
Interestingly, upon hearing the rumours of Jayalalithaa getting bail, followers of Jayalalithaa started celebrating both in Bangalore and Chennai. Both men and women danced on the roads, lighted crackers, distributed sweets, raised slogans, waved AIADMK flags and hugged the photos of Jayalalithaa.
