KIIT was established as an institution imparting degree engineering programme in 1997. The first batch of students passed out in 2001. Since then, the KIIT has been achieving successful campus placements for its graduates. The reason for cent per cent placement is due to emphasis given to academic grooming for KIIT students and helping students to move to a higher level which has translated into students securing admission in national and international universities of repute.

The students have got confirmed offers from top universities in Switzerland, France, Norway, Canada, Poland and Germany for PhD and other courses. The university has been able to achieve consistently excellent placement record due to its innovative teaching-learning system, driven by a highly qualified and competent team of faculty. This brings out the best in its students. The educational journey includes numerous academic conferences, seminars and workshops organised around the year. These are attended by eminent academicians, legal luminaries, corporate leaders, policy makers and scientists including Nobel laureates. Hence, the students are sure to get unmatched exposure from their interactions with them.

KIIT and KISS founder Dr Achyuta Samanta personally congratulated the students and praised their high learning rigour and enthusiasm for rigorous placement training organised by the KIIT’s training and placement cell. He also encouraged the students to go for the academic placement in foreign universities for their higher studies and take advantage as KIIT’s had tie-up with 130 reputed universities in the world.
