Mangalore, February 3, 2013; RSS today said that it is practically following all the teachings of Mahatma Gandhi and Swami Vivekananda for building the powerful nation and called upon each and every one to dedicate themselves in Service activities in order to build the strong Bharat which can be like a Guru to entire world.
“ We are born in this holy land called Bharat (Hindu Rashtra). We have to channalise our physical strength and will power in making our country more stronger, without any discrimination of caste , creed, language etc. and emerge as a Guru to all other countries to give direction ” said Mohan Bhagwat, RSS Sarasanghachalak at the mega convention of I Lakh Swayamsevaks at the Vibhag Sanghik held at Kenjaru Grounds near Bajpe Airport, Mangalore.
Swayamsevaks from Dakshin Kannada, Udupi, Kodagu of Karnataka state and Kasaragod of Kerala state participated in the mega event. According to the organisers,15000 volunteers worked hard tirelessly for the last 10 months and covered 1152 villages through Door to Door campaign for this mega event. The event took place in a sprawling 65 acres ground and organized as part of the 150th birth celebration of Swami Vivekananda.
