Missing women, child of Belthangady traced in Bangalore

Belthangady , March 6, 2013;

Three women and child missing from Belthangady for more than a week were traced in Bangalore, thus putting an end to all sorts of speculations and rumours.  The missing people who were brought back from Bangalore were handed over their respective families by SI Babu Gowda of Belthangady Police Station.

Sheelavati  (35) went missing along with her son Muralidhar (9) from Belthangady.  It is said that one broker had promised to get her  remarried and Sheelavati who  believed him, had  left home with her son on the pretext of attending  some function failed to return home even after a weak. A missing complaint was filed by Sheelavati’s brother Umesh in Belthangady police station.

Once in Bangalore Sheelavathi, it is said realized she was in a soup and the broker was trying to lure her into a bigger trap.  She got wind of it and began to contact her people back home and as a result  the police succeeded in tracing her.

In another similar incident Muzamil (17) from Mundaje and Fathima Zohra (24) who went missing from February 20, 2013 were also traced in Bangalore.  Muzumil was working for a call centre in Bangalore while Zohra was working as a maid in a house in Shivajinagar.  Belthangady police succeeded in tracing the missing people with the help of local police in Bangalore.
