The Salman Khan-starrer Dabangg 3 has run into rough weather with various Hindu organisations taking exception to the trailer wherein they alleged that the Hindu Sadhus have been shown in an obscene way.
Dabangg 3 is the latest movie in the Dabang series where Kannada film star Sudeep will be seen for the first time playing the antagonist. The movie is set for a December 20 release. This is also the first time that the Salman Khan movie will be directly dubbed in Kannada version also.
Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) has submitted a memorandum to the Censor Board alleging that in the movie trailer, there is a song ‘Main Hu Dabangg Dabangg, Hud Hud Dabangg.’ ” While performing in western style, the trailer shows obscene and seductive dance by Hindu sadhus and deities. The producer has systematically attacked the Hindu dharma. This song has hurt the religious sentiments of Hindus and hence this song and other denigrating scenes should be deleted from the movie,” said HJS.
