The new ultra-modern Theatre ‘AVVA’ (Mother in Folk culture)  for teaching and learning Music inaugurated today by guests singing their favourite songs. More than 30 popular singers from Bengaluru participated in the inaugural session and sang the songs on the theme of Mother.

The renowned international folk singer Savitha who is the owner of the ‘AVVA’ theatre dedicated this venture for the Music lovers of Bengaluru.

Inaugurating the ultra-modern mini theatre,  KA Dayanand, Deputy Commissioner of Bengaluru Urban District appreciated promoters of the project and felt it will help decongest big auditoriums like Ravindra Kalakshetra. Dayanand said, “Having mini theatres to propagate Music is the ideal solution to preserve our culture. It motivates people to learn and practice Music in their locality.”

Dayanand further added that popular musician Savitha who started  ‘AKKA’ band to promote folk music has a fan following all over the globe and her new venture ‘AVVA’ theatre too will reach the greater height.

Srinivas G Kappanna renowned stage person who is instrumental in starting ‘AVVA’ theatre said, music is the only solution to spread peace across the globe.

Popular singers Puttur Narasimha Nayak, Indu Vishwanath, Rameshchandra, Jogila Siddaraju, Savitha, M.K. Jayasri, Venkatesh Alkod, Shashidar Kote, Manoranjan Prabhakar, Basanth, Neelambike and others mesmerised the audience.
