Mysore, April 24, 2013:
The visit of Congress party high command and UPA Chairperson Sonia Gandhi to the city on May 2 to canvass for the Congress candidates in fray for the Assembly polls scheduled to be held on May 5, has been cancelled, according to District Congress President Dharmasena.
Instead, AICC Vice-President Rahul Gandhi will be arriving in city on Apr. 26 and will be addressing the public.
He will be canvassing for the Congress candidates contesting from 17 Assembly constituencies of Mysore, Chamarajanagar and Kodagu districts. The change in the itinerary of Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi was informed to District Congress by KPCC last night, he added.
