The Mangalore International Air Cargo Complex which was inaugurated in March this year by Union minister for civil aviation Ajith Singh, will be operation from May 1, 2013. This was revealed in an interactive meeting of representatives of customs, airport, travel agents and air cargo exporters and exporters held at Kanara Chamber of Commerce and Industry held on 23, 04013.
The meet was organized with the intent of educating the public to make the maximum use of the air cargo complex and also to know the exact requirements of facilities to enable expeditious movement of import and export of air freight.
