Start-up InterviewMaster gets funding from VentureNursery Angels

Bangalore-based start up, InterviewMaster, offering recruiting solutions to companies engaged in large scale hiring, has secured funding from VentureNursery angels.

InterviewMaster, that offers technology platform based solutions for interviewing candidates without an Interviewer, has been founded by three IIT Bombay alumni and a former Management Consultant who worked with one of the Big 4 consulting firms.

InterviewMaster is focused on providing Automated Video Interviews for pre-screening candidates before job interview. This enables recruiters to raise the quality of prospective employees before they meet in a face-to-face round by screening the not so suitable among them using Automated Video Interviews.

InterviewMaster serves clients from small and medium enterprises to very large corporations by helping build a rich candidate database based on video responses to critical questions. The candidate scores can be referred to as and when required, ushering ‘Just in time’ hiring.

Being an automated Interview process it offers the candidate convenience and location of his choice and does away with scheduling constraints, fraudulent candidates and getting feedback on them from experts within the company.

InterviewMaster was founded by Sanjoe Jose, Tom Jose, Jobin Jose and Kailash Subramanian (though their names may suggest otherwise the founders are not related). They come with a rich industry experience of having worked with one of the best consulting and technology firms in India. InterviewMaster founders joined VentureNursery’s acceleration program Season-2 in December 2012 and graduated in April 2013.

According to Sanjoe Jose, CEO & Co-founder, “The HR industry is looking at ways to reduce the recruitment cycle without affecting the quality of candidates and InterviewMaster successful addresses this.”

Tom Jose CMO & Co-founder added, “Besides benefits like better candidate quality, we save over Rs 10 million for any company hiring 1000 people. For a large IT company, which hires 5000 to 10,000 people annually, the saving could be enough to pay back the entire internal HR staffing salary and recruiting cost.”
