It has been raining snow at Atlanta city in the USA on February 9. The residents of Atlanta say that the snowfall has been exceptionally high this year compared to previous years and this had forced many of them to stay indoors on Sunday.
However, a Bengaluru-based family is seen as having a fun time with snow. Bharathi and her son Ishaan are seen as having the maximum fun in the snow by creating a snowman. Indian family had a fun time playing with their next-door neighbors on the opposite deck Mr.Lee from South Korea with his Son Yang and daughter Junhee by throwing snowballs on each other.
Bharathi, who hails from Bengaluru, had settled down in the US after marrying her husband Mahesh who works as a software engineer in the US.
Speaking to #eNaradaNews, Bharathi said, ” It’s been almost three years since Atlanta saw 2 inches snowfall. Today it snowed for three hours and we enjoyed it thoroughly. We collected the ice and created a snowman using household items like Lids, Dupatta, Carrot, etc., We went around making snowballs and throwing it. We learned from our next-door neighbors Mr.Lee and family that it snows in South Korea too. We told them that we are from South India and we don’t get to see snow but North Indians in the Kashmir region may have some chance.”
As seen in the video, Bharathi and her son are trying to live broadcast the snowman and also playing along with the snow on the roads. The traffic has been minimal as the cars have been staying indoors due to snowfall.
The video is also a nice connecting point for the Indian Diaspora with their families in Bengaluru to give them the first-hand experience of a snow day.
