Four arrested in Prashanth murder case

Mangalore, April 12, 2013:

In a major breakthrough in the brutal murder of Prashanth alias Pachu in Valencia recently the police have arrested four persons and recovered the gun, swords and the car used for executing the murder.

The police arrested the four accused Naveen Alias Pili Naveen, Munna Uppala, Praveen Kalladka and Bhavanishankar from Bajal.  They were arrested in Kumble on a tip off.  Of the four arrested Bhavani Shankar is said to be an accused in the murder of administrative officer of Sullia’s KVG institutions, Ramakrishna in 2011.

It may be recalled that Prashanth was brutally murdered by a gang of eight on late night on Sunday April 7, 2013 near Mangala Bar at Valencia.   Prashanth was the manager of Sri Adhinatheshwara Roadlines in Mangalore and his murder is said to be in revenge for the killing of Bejai Raja who was hacked to death in full public view in December last year.
