BJP took a sudden decision today to throw out Sri Rama Sene Chief Pramod Mutalik within few hours after his induction into the Party. BJP arrived at the dicision due to outburst of Public , negative reports in media and Aam Admi Party’s statement against Mutalik.
Karnataka BJP unit chief Prahlad Joshi and Former CM Jagadish Shettar welcomed Sri Rama Sene chief Mr. Pramod Mutalik into BJP in Hubli today. By evening he is shown doors.
“Due to various reasons induction of Pramod Mutalik has been set aside under central party direction by the State president Prahlad Joshi” said a communique by Karnataka BJP state office, in the evening.
AAP Karnataka termed induction as Dichotomous.
In it’s statement AAP said, “Media reports today confirm controversial Sri Ram Sene chief Mr. Pramod Mutalik joining BJP. Mr. Pramod Mutalik is known for his infamous hooliganism on women and the freedom of expression enshrined in the Indian Constitution.
He is facing several cases including those relating to promoting enmity between communities. In 2010, a sting operation against Mr. Pramod Mutalik revealed, he and his men offered to vandalize public property in exchange for money. Press reports of the corresponding period had also spoken of NIA having probed Mr Mutalik’s role with regard to Malegaon & Samjhota Express blasts.
People like Mr. Pramod Mutalik are symbols of fundamentalism and pose a grave danger to the right of free expression enshrined in the Indian Constitution. At a time when women are marching ahead in tandem with changing times, Mr Mutalik’s vitriolic vandalism on women’s rights are well known and hence deplorable.
Surprisingly, BJP which professes itself to be development oriented party is hypocritical enough to induct such regressive elements for the sake of polarizing harmonious social order.
Aam Aadmi Party, Karnataka would like to reiterate and bring to light the real face of BJP which has inducted people like Mr. Pramod Mutalik, who would now become the torch bearer of bigotry of BJP, a party which comprised of patriotic stalwarts in bygone times.
Aam Aadmi Party is fully confident that the Aam Aadmi of Karnataka is capable of seeing through this veneer of duplicity and is ready to teach such divisive elements an exemplary lesson in the coming elections.”
