ENARADA,Bangalore, August 31, 2013:

Mischievous staff in Vidhana Soudha and Vikasa Soudha may find it difficult to watch adult content online as the Government has blocked it in the seat of power.

On the report published in section of media that some staff viewed online pornography in Vidhan Soudha offices using official internet connection, S.R. Patil, Minister for Planning and Statistics, IT and BT, Science and Technology said it was unacceptable if the report was true.

“The obscene portals had already been blocked and the firewall system would be tightened further. The issue was under probe and the guilty would be punished to maximum account” he said.

IT.biz convention

Addressing a pressmeet, Minister disclosed the details of the hyped IT.biz convention. He said Union Minister for Communications and IT (also Law and Justice) Kapil Sibal would inaugurate a two-day Bangalore IT.biz convention in Bangalore on October 22. Union Minister for State, Shashi Tharoor and Milind Deora would also participate.
